People understand that curing a disease can be very difficult. It could be very hard to handle especially with some extreme illnesses and you cannot just wait for it to go away just like a common cold. There are others however who insist that they are tough and that they can handle anything that may come their way. This is foolish talk. This cannot be further from the truth and shows the arrogance of some people when it comes to their bodies. Thus people get sick with illnesses that they could have easily avoided if only they were humble enough to admit that they are susceptible to it. In breast cancer, women are clearly susceptible to this disease. This is why they should not ignore this problem and find out the causes of breast cancer.
It is very important to know the causes of breast cancer. This is because as we all know, prevention is better than medication. If one knows the causes of breast cancer, then she would be able to avoid it better and make herself less susceptible to it.
There are no clear delineation of the causes of breast cancer. For the medial experts, what they are concerned about are risk factors which essentially are the some as causes except that they are less direct. They are actual factors that increase the possibility of having breast cancer without being the direct cause of it. For example, as we have said, breast cancer attacks women predominantly. While this fact is true, it does not directly mean that it is the fact that the person is female that caused the person to get breast cancer.
Then there is age. As the age of the person goes up, there is a higher possibility that the woman will get breast cancer. These causes of breast cancer are actually uncontrollable. They are factors that we cannot really change or avoid.
Breast cancer is also more prevalent with Caucasians more than with non-Caucasians. Why such is the case, the medical community have not yet concluded. As of now, this fact is based merely on statistics more than concrete analysis.
There is also family history or genetic history to consider as one of the causes of breast cancer. This is because the genes tat carry breast cancer is passed on to the next generation and thereby making the offspring susceptible as well.
While these causes of breast cancer are unavoidable, there is a benefit to knowing them. It would help you know if you are susceptible to breast cancer and therefore be more vigilant of the symptoms.
